Easter Bunny 3D Shadow Box SVG Layered Paper Cut Template

This Easter shadow box paper cut was inspired by the pretty paper mache Easter eggs I was given as a child. The egg was hollow so when you opened it a gift could be found inside, however the egg itself was my favourite part.

There was always a beautiful springtime scene with different animals depicted on the egg in lovely pastel colours. I’ve tried to capture those memories in this shadow box.

The scene I have created for this shadow box is of a baby bunny rabbit and its parent gazing at each other lovingly. Spring flowers, including yellow daffodils, are in the foreground of the scene and a pretty blue butterfly flutters in the distance. The scene is framed within an egg-shaped aperture edged with ‘lace’ and what appears to be threaded ‘ribbon’. It is topped with a pretty pale pink bow.

Once complete, this shadow box would look great as part of your Easter or spring decor.

The materials you will need to complete this project, in addition to these templates are:

• A square shadow box frame
• Various coloured papers/card for the shadow box layers
• Foam board or corrugated card to create the spacers
• Glue

There are files that can be used with a cutting machine such as a Cricut or Silhouette or you can download and print the handcutting files and cut with a craft knife/scalpel. 

There are handcutting templates (PDF) to create an 8” x 8” version or a 9” x 9” version of the shadow box.

All the machine cutting files (SVG, DXF, EPS) can be resized in your cutting software if needed.

*Please note the SVG files will only work in the desktop version of CanvasWorkspace (Scan N Cut software), they will not work in the web/online version as it has more limited capabilities than the desktop version.
