In this tutorial I take through the steps to create foam board spacers and how to assemble them together with micro LEDs to create a light up shadow box.
To create the spacers you’ll need:
3mm foam board (5 x A4 sheets for this example)
A pencil
A sturdy ruler (metal is best)
A craft knife
A cutting mat
To assemble the final shadow box you’ll need:
A shadow box frame
The spacers you’ve created
Micro LED ‘rice’ string lights
Shadow box paper layers
We’ll be using the snowman shadow box paper layers that we created in my previous video
